Tel Aviv-based startup Rig has emerged from stealth with $12 million in seed funding to address the growing security challenge of distinguishing between human employees and AI agents. As organizations rapidly integrate AI into engineering, marketing, and operations, security teams are struggling to track what is accessing their data. Rig’s platform is designed to identify AI agents operating through both human and machine accounts, allowing administrators to monitor or stop them without disrupting legitimate user access. The funding round was co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Brightmind Partners, with participation from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund and prominent cybersecurity executives. Rig’s technology is particularly relevant for large enterprises where the security question has shifted from 'Who has access?' to 'What is using that access right now?' The company, which was a runner-up in the 2025 AWS and CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator, plans to use the capital to further develop its detection capabilities and expand its team, which currently stands at 20 employees.
